Herbal Aloe Vera concentrate – classic and mango
If you haven’t already, you probably will be drinking this magnificent drink very soon.
Or has your trainer already tricked you with it? Maybe he recommended her to you?
But why do coaches like to start programs with him so much?
For more than 6,000 years, Aloe Vera has been used for medicinal purposes by various cultures and civilizations. It is no coincidence that the Egyptians called it the “Plant of Immortality” and used it for literally any ailments.
Aloe Vera juice strengthens the immune system, with its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. The juice helps the body cleanse itself of toxins and invading pathogens.
The Benefits
Aloe Vera juice contains more than 100 biologically active substances, including 75 particularly useful for digestion, which include:
Minerals
Aloe Vera contains almost 20 minerals including: calcium, magnesium, zinc, chromium, selenium, sodium, iron, potassium, copper and manganese. The combination of these minerals improves the metabolism of enzymes. Zinc is a very strong antioxidant that increases the activity of cellular enzymes, improving the detoxification of metabolic waste.
Enzymes
Aloe Vera contains enzymes such as amylase and lipase, which when taken orally, support the digestion and breakdown of fatty foods. Some of the enzymes in the plant help to relieve inflammation.
Vitamins
Aloe Vera is one of the few plants that contain vitamin B12, which is necessary for the production of red blood cells. In addition, Aloe Vera contains large amounts of vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, choline and folic acid. Choline and B vitamins are necessary for amino acid metabolism, and vitamins A, C and E bring the strong antioxidant properties of the plant.
Polysaccharides
The plant contains mucilaginous polysaccharides. These are long-chain sugar molecules consisting of mannose and glucose. These mucilaginous polysaccharides are responsible for many of Aloe Vera’s healing properties. They perform many key functions in the body. They act as anti-inflammatory agents, have antibacterial and antiviral effects, strengthen immunity, promote tissue growth and improve cell metabolism. Below we will pay special attention to one of them.
Daily detox with Aloe Vera
The plant cleanses the body of harmful substances. Removes toxic substances from the stomach, kidneys, spleen, bladder, liver and colon. Numerous studies prove that Aloe Vera juice improves digestion, prevents stomach problems and ulcers. The juice relieves tissue inflammation that often causes joint pain and arthritis. What’s more, it does this at the cellular level, beyond the cell membranes.
We usually recommend 3 caps of Aloe concentrate in warm (not hot – less than 40 degrees) water in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before going to bed, as a daily habit to maintain health and good digestion!
But these are very minimal recommendations. Aloe Vera concentrate can sweeten your tea, it can be the family soft drink, and why not the drink for guests, it can flavor your water all day long.
With the help of Aloe Vera Concentrate, we learned to drink our daily amount of water.
Here I will also give you the recipe for a unique morning detox drink with aloe, with which you can start your day:
- 300-400 ml. hot water
- 3-4 Aloe Vera caps
- 1 level teaspoon of Thermojetix tea
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
A spicy, energizing and detoxifying drink, suitable for a fat loss program!
Try it!
But back to Herbalife Nutrition‘s Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera juice is rich in Acemannan.
It is a type of polysaccharide that is produced in the human body until early puberty, but thereafter can only be obtained through food.
This substance is stored in all cell membranes, thereby strengthening the body’s immune system in the fight against pathogenic parasites, viruses and bacteria. It is the basis of all cells in connective tissue, including the skin, the walls of blood vessels, tendons, joints, cartilage, and the skeleton.
Acemannan has the ability to fight not only viruses and bacteria but also fungal infections by helping to stabilize the beneficial flora in the gut. It also helps expel foreign proteins from the colon, thus helping to control allergies.
Acemannan has a direct effect on the immune system, activates and stimulates macrocytes, monocytes and antibodies, even T-lymphocytes! The results of laboratory studies show that Acemannan functions as a “bridge” between foreign proteins and macrocytes, and helps with phagocytosis (the uptake of foreign bacterial or viral invaders by phagocytes).
Acemannan destroys the protein shell of cancer cells and thus the immune cells can now more effectively attack and neutralize them.
Acemannan protects the spinal cord from damage due to chemical poisoning and drug use.
Because it is stored in all cell membranes, it is possible to influence the overall strengthening of the immune system, as a result of which it also contributes significantly to intracellular detoxification…
Unbelievable!
Just 3 caps in the morning and evening in warm water, the ideal dose of health and detox for every day!
Everything written here refers to Aloe Vera Concentrate by Herbalife Nutrition.
It does not in any way correspond to the Aloe Vera drinks that are already seen in every supermarket, regardless of whether they have Aloe pieces or not.
Many people have Aloe Vera in their homes or in the yard in a pot.
Aloe has antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe vera gel contains the minerals sulfur, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, chromium and germanium, vitamins C, A, E, B12, amino acids, essential fatty acids, enzymes and polysaccharides.
Aloe polysaccharides help with all kinds of digestive problems and act as a probiotic – this means they effectively enhance the action of probiotics such as acidophilus, bifidus, etc. Aloe vera also has strong detoxifying properties.
The plant is used to accelerate skin regeneration, hydrate dry skin, restoring its elasticity and flexibility. It is also used to treat acne, skin blemishes, burns, eczema, insect bites, psoriasis, skin cancer, stretch marks, sun burns etc.
Taken internally, aloe vera destroys parasites, harmful bacteria and fungi, detoxifies, stimulates the growth of new cells as well as the immune system, improves digestion.
And… taking into account native folk psychology, I will insert an important note.
Note that 350 species of Aloe Vera have already been described (some of them poisonous), and only two have the qualities that have made the Aloe Vera plant famous:
- Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller (which Herbalife Nutrition uses) and
- Aloe Arborescens Miller.
Herbalife Nutrition’s Aloe Vera Concentrate also comes in two varieties, but both are made from the Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller strain. The difference is that the Classic concentrate is sweetened with sugar, while with mango the sweetness is due to the natural Mango fruit. Hence the significantly lower calorie content (about 10 times!) of Mango compared to Classic.
In any case, both drinks have great qualities, the trainer will take the caloric content into account when preparing the diet and it is mostly a matter of taste which one you will use – Mango or Classic.
The standard serving is 3 full caps per glass of water, but overdosing on it is not harmful at all. A bottle of aloe at home ends like a glance.
